Service: William Cecil served (Patriotic Service) in Maryland. William signed the Oath of Allegiance in March 1778.
Family: William married Elizabeth (unknown surname). They had ten children. His Will mentioned: daughters Mary Ball, Elizabeth Toole, Susannah Kirk, and sons Archibald, William, Thomas, George, Philip, John, and Benjamin. Archibald was married to Priscilla (unknown surname) and Susannah was married to William Kirk.
